Sign in, reset your password, or use Google or Facebook

How to get back into your Uplup account, and why a reset code never arrives for an account created with Google or Facebook.

Three ways to sign in

  • Email and password: the form on the sign-in page.
  • Continue with Google: the button above the form. No password exists for these accounts.
  • Continue with Facebook: the same, through Facebook.

Whichever way you created your account is the way to sign in. The sign-in page is uplup.com/auth/login.

The reset code never arrives

The most common reason: the account was created with Google or Facebook. Those accounts have no password, so there is nothing to reset and no code can be sent. Go back to the sign-in page and click Continue with Google (or Facebook) with the same email address. You are in straight away.

If you did create the account with a password:

  1. Check the spam or junk folder. The email comes from hello@uplup.com.
  2. Wait a minute and request the code again; only the newest code works.
  3. Make sure the email is spelled exactly as you signed up. The form says the code was sent even when the address is not on file.
  4. Still nothing? Message us from the chat bubble with the email you use and we will sort it out.

Reset your password

  1. On the sign-in page click Forgot password?.
  2. Enter your email and click Send reset code.
  3. Paste the 6-digit code from the email and choose a new password (at least 8 characters, with a lowercase letter and a number).
  4. Sign in with the new password.

Switch from Google to a password

You can keep using Google. If you would rather have a password, message us from the chat bubble and we will set one up on your account; you can then sign in either way.

Email not verified yet

New password accounts get a 6-digit verification code by email. If you closed the page before entering it, sign in again: the form takes you to the code step and sends a fresh code.
