Integrations Overview: how Uplup connects to your stack
Integrations Overview: how Uplup connects to your stack
Everything you need to know about how Uplup integrations work, how to pick the right one, and what gets shared.
What this section covers
Uplup integrates with your CRM, email marketing platform, analytics tools, and any custom backend via webhooks or our API. Every native integration in this section turns a form or quiz submission into a contact on the platform you picked, automatically and in real time.
How to think about integrations
Uplup integrations live at the brand level, not the per-form level. You connect once on the brand’s Integrations page, then every form and quiz inside that brand uses the same connection. This is intentional. Most teams want a single source of truth for where leads go. If you need different destinations per form (for example, leads from a webinar form go to one Mailchimp audience and leads from a sales form go to another), pick a different “list” or “audience” when you connect the integration, then duplicate the connection per form with the dropdown on the form’s Integrations tab.
What gets sent
Every successful form or quiz submission sends a small payload to the integration:
- Email (always)
- First name and last name (if the form has a Full Name field, or separate first/last fields, or the quiz has a Lead Capture page that collects name)
- Phone (if a phone field exists)
- Custom fields (any text field the user filled in, mapped to a matching custom field on the destination platform, if that field exists there)
How to set up an integration
Each provider has its own step-by-step guide in this section. The general flow is:
- Log in to your Uplup brand dashboard and open Integrations in the left sidebar.
- Find the provider you want in the Email & CRM section and click Connect.
- Paste the API key or other credentials from your provider’s account.
- Click Fetch Lists to load your lists, audiences, forms, or segments.
- Pick the destination you want new leads sent to.
- Click Save. The integration is now active for every form and quiz in this brand.
What if my provider isn’t in the list?
Three options:
- Zapier: works with 5,000+ apps and is the easiest path if your provider isn’t natively supported.
- Webhooks: send the raw submission JSON to any URL you control. Good for custom backends.
- n8n or Make.com: open-source / lower-cost automation tools that work like Zapier.
- Request a new integration: contact support and we’ll prioritise based on demand.
How to verify a lead actually reached the integration
Submit a test entry on your form or quiz with a real email address you control, then open the integration’s dashboard and look for the subscriber. See the troubleshooting guide in this section if it doesn’t appear within a minute.
