Connect Google Sheets to Uplup

Connect Google Sheets to Uplup

Send every quiz or form response to a Google spreadsheet that Uplup creates in your Drive, one row per response.

What this does

Uplup creates a spreadsheet in your Google Drive for each quiz or form you switch on, and adds a row for every response as it arrives. The sheet has a bold, frozen header: when it was submitted, the submission id, name, email and phone, then one column per question, then on quizzes the score, percentage, correct answers, number of questions and the result (Passed or Not passed, or the personality type), then country and region. Add a question later and a new column appears at the end; earlier rows keep their meaning.

Uplup asks Google for the narrowest permission there is (drive.file). It can only see and edit spreadsheets it created itself, never the rest of your Drive.

How to connect

  1. Open the quiz or form in the builder and click the Connect tab.
  2. Scroll to Spreadsheets and click Connect Google. A Google window opens; pick the account and click Allow.
  3. Switch on Send this quiz’s responses to a spreadsheet. Uplup creates the sheet at once and shows an Open the spreadsheet link.
  4. Take the quiz once yourself to see the first row land.

The Google connection belongs to your brand, so you connect once and switch the sheet on per quiz or form. You can also connect from Integrations in the left sidebar of your dashboard.

What you will see

  • The card shows how many rows were sent and when the last one landed.
  • If a row could not be written, the reason shows on the card; the response itself is always kept in Uplup.
  • Deleted the spreadsheet by accident? Uplup makes a new one on the next response.
  • Responses that arrive over your plan’s monthly limit stay in Uplup only, like every other integration.

Turning it off

  • Switch it off on the quiz to stop new rows; the spreadsheet stays in your Drive.
  • Click Disconnect on the card to remove the Google connection for the whole brand. Existing spreadsheets are untouched.

Plan availability

Google Sheets is included on Pro, Business and Scale, like the other integrations.
