Connect Sendy to Uplup

How to connect

1. Log in to your Uplup brand dashboard and open Integrations in the left sidebar.
2. Find Sendy in the Email & CRM section and click Connect.
3. Paste your API Key + Installation URL + List ID. Settings tab in your self-hosted Sendy install. Installation URL is the base URL where Sendy is hosted (e.g. https://mail.example.com).
4. Click Fetch Lists to load your list (manual ID)s from Sendy.
5. Pick the list (manual ID) you want new leads sent to.
6. Click Save. The integration is now active for every form and quiz in this brand.

What syncs to Sendy

Email, name (first + last combined) — added to the list whose ID you provided. Sendy returns plain text ‘1’ on success.

When does the lead get sent?

Every time someone submits one of your Uplup forms or completes one of your quizzes, the lead is pushed to Sendy within a few seconds. This is fire-and-forget — submissions still succeed even if Sendy is temporarily unreachable, and every attempt is logged on your account so you can audit what was sent.

Both forms and quizzes

This integration works identically for forms (where the user fills in name and email directly) and quizzes (where the user reaches the Lead Capture page after answering questions). Uplup picks up the email, name, and phone fields automatically — no per-form configuration needed.

Troubleshooting

• Fetch Lists returns an error. Double-check the API Key + Installation URL + List ID value. If you regenerated keys recently, the old ones stop working immediately.
• Submission succeeded but lead didn’t appear in Sendy. Confirm the form has both an email field and (for quizzes) a Lead Capture page that collects email. Without an email field, there’s nothing to send.
• Want to send to a different list (manual ID). Open the integration again, pick a new list (manual ID), and save. The change applies to all future submissions.

Disconnecting

Open the Sendy integration in your Uplup Integrations page and click Disconnect. New submissions stop being sent to Sendy immediately. Submissions already sent stay in Sendy until you delete them there.
