Connect Braze to Uplup
Auto-send form and quiz submissions to your Braze subscription group.
How to connect
- Log in to your Uplup brand dashboard and open Integrations in the left sidebar.
- Find Braze in the Email & CRM section and click Connect.
- Paste your REST API Key + REST endpoint. Settings → APIs and Identifiers. The REST endpoint is your Braze instance subdomain, e.g. rest.iad-01.braze.com.
- Click Fetch Lists to load your subscription groups from Braze.
- Pick the subscription group you want new leads sent to.
- Click Save. The integration is now active for every form and quiz in this brand.
What syncs to Braze
Email (used as external_id), first name, last name, phone — opted_in for email subscriptions.
When does the lead get sent?
Every time someone submits one of your Uplup forms or completes one of your quizzes, the lead is pushed to Braze within a few seconds. This is fire-and-forget — submissions still succeed even if Braze is temporarily unreachable, and every attempt is logged on your account so you can audit what was sent.
Both forms and quizzes
This integration works identically for forms (where the user fills in name and email directly) and quizzes (where the user reaches the Lead Capture page after answering questions). Uplup picks up the email, name, and phone fields automatically — no per-form configuration needed.
Troubleshooting
- Fetch Lists returns an error. Double-check the REST API Key + REST endpoint value. If you regenerated keys recently, the old ones stop working immediately.
- Submission succeeded but lead didn’t appear in Braze. Confirm the form has both an email field and (for quizzes) a Lead Capture page that collects email. Without an email field, there’s nothing to send.
- Want to send to a different subscription group. Open the integration again, pick a new subscription group, and save. The change applies to all future submissions.
Disconnecting
Open the Braze integration in your Uplup Integrations page and click Disconnect. New submissions stop being sent to Braze immediately. Submissions already sent stay in Braze until you delete them there.
