Someone who finishes this quiz learns exactly where their yoga knowledge stands: solid on the poses, maybe shaky on the philosophy. The person who publishes it gets something too: scores, answer patterns, and, with a lead capture step switched on, a contact list of people interested enough in wellness to test themselves. Studios, teachers, and wellness brands trade on that exchange all the time, and this template packages it into a Medium difficulty format that takes about 4 to 6 minutes to complete.

Everything in it is editable before you publish, from the question wording to the point values, so treat the stock version as a starting point rather than a finished product.

From Namaste to the Anahata chakra in ten questions

The 10 questions cover poses, history, breath work, and energy centers. Takers are asked "Where did yoga originate?" and what yoga means in Sanskrit (union, from the root yuj). True or false items test whether Downward Dog counts as a foundational pose and what mindfulness meditation actually focuses on. Two multi-select questions ask people to pick out genuine yoga poses and real benefits of regular practice, with "increased aggression" sitting among the options as the obvious trap.

Question order shuffles on every attempt, skipping is off, and answers lock once submitted, so there is no backtracking to fix a guess. A progress indicator keeps takers oriented, and there is no timer, which suits a quiz that is supposed to feel calm.

Sixty points earns a pass, and every answer teaches something

Each question carries 10 points toward a 100 point total, and 60 is the passing score. Feedback lands immediately after every answer, paired with a short explanation: miss the chakra question and you still learn that Anahata is the fourth chakra, tied to love and compassion. Retakes are switched on, so a taker who lands at 50 can come back for another run at the pass mark. The leaderboard is off out of the box, though you can enable it in settings if you want a bit of friendly studio rivalry.

Where the quiz actually travels

Publishing gives you options: a direct link for your class newsletter, a QR code for the studio door or a retreat welcome pack, social sharing, or an embed snippet for your website. Studios running on WordPress get a shortcode through the Uplup plugin that places the quiz inside any page or post. The template is free to use, and you can restyle it with your own colors and logo before it goes anywhere.

Once responses arrive, the analytics show completion rates and how takers handled each individual question, which tells a teacher precisely which topics the community has down and which deserve a workshop. Export results to CSV, or connect webhooks or Zapier if you want scores flowing into another tool automatically.

Who Is This Template For?

This template works for a wide range of goals and industries.

Studio and class engagement

Yoga teachers send the quiz between classes through a newsletter link or post the QR code by the studio door. The mix of pose questions, Sanskrit, and chakra knowledge gives regulars a reason to interact with the studio outside of mat time, and the shared score chatter tends to fill the minutes before class starts.

Lead capture for wellness brands

Add a lead capture step and the quiz becomes a list builder: people curious enough to test their knowledge of Vinyasa and mindfulness are exactly the audience a retreat, app, or apparel brand wants to reach. Contact details land alongside scores, ready for CSV export or a Zapier handoff.

Teacher training warm-ups

Training programs use the 10 questions as a light pre-assessment before a course begins. The per-question results show instructors whether a cohort already knows that Anahata is the heart chakra or needs the fundamentals covered first, so session plans start from evidence instead of assumptions.

Key Features

Clear points scoring

Ten questions at 10 points apiece add up to 100, with 60 needed to pass. Both the point values and the pass mark are editable if your audience needs an easier or harder bar.

Explanations after every answer

Instant feedback pairs each response with a short lesson, so a wrong guess about the meaning of Namaste still leaves the taker knowing the traditional translation.

Shuffled questions with retakes

Question order randomizes on each attempt and retakes are enabled, so a second try means recalling the material rather than memorizing a sequence.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Yoga & Wellness Quiz free to use?
Yes. It sits on Uplup's free plan, so you can customize it, publish it, and collect responses without paying anything. Sharing by link, QR code, or embed is included.
Can I change the questions or the passing score?
Yes. Open the editor to rewrite any of the 10 questions, swap answer options, adjust the 10 point values, or move the pass mark off its default of 60. You can also toggle settings like question shuffling or the leaderboard before publishing.
What happens when a taker gets an answer wrong?
They immediately see the correct answer along with a brief explanation, such as why Vinyasa is known for flowing movement synchronized with breath. Because retakes are enabled, anyone who misses the 60 point pass mark can try again with the questions reshuffled.
