Quiz Analytics – Results & Performance Reports | Uplup

Understand how your quizzes perform with the Analytics tab. Track funnel conversion, score distribution, hourly and daily patterns, geography, and campaign sources, then export the data as CSV.

Accessing Analytics

  1. Open your quiz in the builder
  2. Click the Results tab in the top navigation
  3. Click the Analytics sub-tab (the default sub-tab is Responses)

The Analytics view has five sub-tabs: Overview, Performance, Behavior, Geography, and Campaigns.


Overview sub-tab

Key metric cards

  • Responses: total completed quiz submissions, with day-over-day change
  • Average Score: mean score across responses, with the lowest-to-highest range
  • Pass Rate: percentage of takers who met the passing-score threshold
  • Avg. Time: mean time taken to complete the quiz

Quiz Funnel

Three-step funnel showing Viewed → Started → Completed, with the conversion rate at each step. Use this to spot where takers drop off.

Score Distribution

Bar chart bucketing all responses into five score ranges: 0–20%, 21–40%, 41–60%, 61–80%, and 81–100%. Quickly see whether the quiz is too easy, too hard, or well-balanced.

Submission Trends & Views vs Submissions

Two time-series charts (when data is available) showing submissions over the selected date range and page views compared with submissions.


Performance sub-tab

  • Success Rate — share of viewers who completed
  • Avg Session — average completion time
  • Active Days — days with at least one submission
  • Hourly Activity — bar chart of submissions by hour of day
  • Daily Patterns — bar chart of submissions by day of week
  • Field Performance — per-field completion rate and response count

Behavior sub-tab

  • User Types — pie chart of participant types
  • Visitor Breakdown — New Visitors, Returning Visitors, Max Session Duration
  • Top Participants — table of the highest-engagement respondents (email, submissions, type, score, country)

Geography sub-tab

Country and region distribution of responses, including participants and submissions per location.


Campaigns sub-tab

UTM-based ad-tracking breakdown so you can see which campaign sources are driving quiz traffic and conversions.


Individual Responses

Per-response data lives in the Responses sub-tab (next to Analytics), not inside Analytics.

Response list

  • Name and email (when collected via Lead Capture)
  • Submission date and time
  • Score (where applicable)
  • Status (completed or pending)

Response detail

Click any response to open the side panel with the full submission, including the score summary (e.g. “7 of 10 correct”) and every answer the respondent gave.

Filtering & search

  • Search by email, phone, or submission ID
  • Filter by status (completed / pending)
  • Filter by date range

Exporting Data

Click Export in the top-right of the Analytics view to open the export modal. Exports are CSV, JSON, or Excel.

You can pick which field groups to include:

  • Page Views & Traffic
  • Performance Metrics
  • Individual Submissions
  • Top Participants
  • Geographic Analytics
  • Field Performance Analytics

Set the date range and filename, then click Export Analytics to download.
