How CRM Integrations Work
Uplup connects to external email marketing and CRM platforms so each form submission can push the contact into your chosen list, audience, or contact database. When someone submits your form:
- Form data is pushed to every connected CRM enabled on that form
- The subscriber is added to the list, audience, or contact record you selected (where the platform supports list selection)
- Your CRM handles any downstream automations (welcome emails, sequences, internal notifications, etc.)
Sync is one-way push from Uplup into your CRM. Updates made inside the CRM (unsubscribes, list changes, custom property edits) are not pulled back into Uplup.
Supported Platforms (42)
Uplup ships with 42 CRM and email marketing connectors. 40 are available on the Pro plan and above; HubSpot and Salesforce are gated to the Business plan.

- Pro / Scale: All 40 non-enterprise CRM connectors.
- Business: All 42 connectors, including HubSpot and Salesforce.
Connecting a CRM
Connect a CRM once at the brand level, then enable it on individual forms. From the form builder:
- Open your form and click the Connect tab in the top builder navigation (Create / Logic / Connect / Share / Results).
- Inside Connect, switch to the CRM sub-tab. (Standalone brand-level integrations live at Brand Settings → Integrations, where the same connectors are filtered with the Email & CRM pill.)
- Find your platform and click Connect.
- Authorize the integration. HubSpot, Salesforce, AWeber, and Constant Contact use OAuth. The remaining connectors use API keys (and in some cases an account ID, instance URL, or app ID). Field labels and helper links inside the modal tell you exactly where each value lives in the third-party dashboard.
- Click Save. Uplup verifies the credential and, where the API supports it, fetches your available lists or audiences.

Enabling Integrations Per Form
Once a CRM is connected at the brand level, switch it on for each form individually:
- In the form builder, go to Connect → CRM.
- Toggle the connected CRM ON for this form.
- If the platform supports list fetching (Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Klaviyo, Brevo, Constant Contact, ConvertKit, MailerLite, GetResponse, HubSpot, Salesforce, and most others), pick the destination list or audience.
- For platforms that do not expose a lists API (Beehiiv, Customer.io, Drip, Omnisend, Vero), Uplup pushes contacts directly to the account’s default destination.

Sync Behavior
- Direction: One-way push from Uplup into your CRM. There is no bidirectional sync.
- Trigger: Each completed form submission fires the integration immediately as part of the submit pipeline.
- Standard fields: Email, first name, last name, and phone are mapped automatically when the form contains those fields.
- Multiple destinations: You can enable several CRMs on the same form — every submission is pushed to each enabled connector in parallel.
Setting Up Email Automations
Email sequences, drip campaigns, and internal notifications are configured inside your CRM, not inside Uplup. The submission triggers a list-join event, and your CRM takes it from there.
Common Automation Workflows
Welcome email to new submitters
- In your CRM, create an automation triggered when a contact joins the list you mapped to the form.
- Add a “Send Email” action with your welcome message.
- New form submissions automatically enter the automation.
Internal notification to your team
- Create an automation triggered on new subscriber.
- Add an internal-notification or “Send Email” step pointed at your team alias.
Multi-step drip sequence
- Build a multi-step automation with delays between emails (Day 1, Day 3, Day 7).
- Each form submission starts the contact on the sequence.
Platform-specific quick refs
- Mailchimp: Customer Journey or Classic Automation triggered by audience join.
- Klaviyo: Flow triggered by “List Join.”
- ActiveCampaign: Automation with “Subscribes to list” trigger.
- ConvertKit: Visual Automation with “Joins form” trigger.
- HubSpot: Workflow triggered when a contact is added to the static list mapped on the form.
- Salesforce: Process Builder or Flow triggered on new Lead/Contact creation.
