In Tulsa's Pearl District lies a small but hard rocking all ages club called Eclipse Cultural House. It's only been open for a few years, but it's steadily gaining recognition in North East Oklahoma's music scene, boosted in part by the recent closing of a mid-sized venue called The Marquee. Since then, patrons of Eclipse have enjoyed more and better acts coming through.
It's smaller floor space makes for very intimate concerts where performer and audience almost have no choice but to interact. For the heavy shows, this makes for more energy, better mosh pits, more headbanging and screaming. But the venue doesn't stop there. Fans of indie rock and red dirt music can find what they're looking for at Eclipse as well. Also of note, the good variety of domestic and import beers to quench the thirst of adult concert-goers. Any band coming through on an independent tour should look into it!
