Tucked away in Downtown Tulsa is Club 209. At first glance, it's a gay and lesbian bar. But it's much more than that. The club is open to non-judgemental people of any orientation. The feel is very classy, adult and upscale. Beautiful nude art and photography of both genders adorn the walls. There is a very nice bar and patio, but Club 209's main music hall is a posh lounge, complete with luxury couches, ottomans and love seats.
Aside from the usual karaoke on Sundays, art shows and DJ performances on Fridays, the club features live acts in the vein of R&B, Jazz, Folk, dueling pianos and solo acoustic singer/song writers every Saturday night. The concerts are free, with a suggested artist donation at the door.
