The Dragon's Den is a 2 story dive bar located at the corner of Frenchmen St. and Decatur. It usually hosts a lot of experimental jazz, electronic music, and indie rock. Drinks are cheap and there is a nice courtyard outside if you need to catch a breath from the lack of a/c upstairs.
It is an easy place to get a gig if you're a new band, but it won't pay much. If you are trying to just play, it can be a really fun spot.
