The European Street Cafe Listening Room has some great jam sessions and traveling musicians. The best shows are during the week. It's shared with the restaurant so you have to deal with some background sounds, but it's a very intimate way to hear a great musician or band. Lots of jazz from locals to big names. Great way to meet the artists. Kitchen is open during shows so enjoy dinner and drinks, not to mention their amazing desserts. You can join their e-mail list and get updates on who's playing. Shows typically average about $10. Perfect place to go for drinks after work and hear some of the best jazz in Jacksonville. They also have a listening room at their Beach Blvd location.
