The Roxy on the Sunset Strip in the West Hollywood section of Los Angeles is a wonderful venue. Rocking since 1973, the club has seen a mix of many famous acts (see notable past acts below), and local, up-and-coming bands. Mainly consisting of a medium sized room with booth seating in the back, it gets crowded fast but that only ads to the overall atmosphere. It's a great venue for smaller bands to get a feel for performing in a famous venue which is almost always packed. Local radio stations often have competitions for local bands to land a gig here, so look that up if you're interested in playing here!
