Lamp Lighters is a pretty crazy bar / music spot. It tends to be a younger crowd. A lot of ladies / dudes. There's a dance floor upstairs. It's a pretty descent mix of music. 90's cover bands, random rock bands, and jam sessions take place here. Also, there's open mic karaoke every Saturday night. So, if you're looking to make a fool of yourself, or you've got some singing skills, Lamp Lighters open mic karaoke just might be for you.
If you're a musician be sure to check out the open jam session on the first sunday of every month. It's mostly rock and blues. If you you can jam out to a simple blues progression you got nothing to worry about. It's usually a bit of an older crowd in the band. But, some youngeons show up too! All ages (21+) welcome! It's a good way to meet some local talent.
