When you're looking for something heavier from the underground, look no further than The Conservatory on N Western Avenue in Oklahoma City. The evnvironment is electrified with fun and aggression. The crowd is usually younger, but the city's hardcore vets frequent The Conservatory as well.
Depending on the night and the band, the sound can leave something to be desired, but it's of no consequence to the hardcore concert goers there to support their favorite up and coming rock, hardcore and metal bands. Of course, that's not all that plays here. OKC's legendary dive also houses indie, hip-hop and grungy blues bands as well. Definitely worth a look for both good bands looking to tear it up, and rock lovers of all ages.
