In Downtown Pueblo, CO you'll find what appears to be the fanciest auto repair shop ever. But Phil's Radiator Service and Beer Garden is actually a bad ass music venue and bar in disguise. A remodeled 1950's radiator repair shop is the perfect setting for this venue. They have both all-ages and 21+ shows, a full cocktail bar, wide variety of import beers and a lush outdoor patio where patrons can enjoy the near-perfect Pueblo weather.
The decor screams 1950's rockabilly, but the bands generally range from death metal to grind to punk and rock. This place appears to have it all . . . except a stage. Bands play on the floor, but the drummer is lucky enough to have a decent drum riser. The entire building is cinder block and concrete floors, so feedback can be an issue. You might want to bring ear plugs if that happens. In total, Phil's is a fun and unique venue worthy of checking out.
