The Myth Nightclub, located in Maplewood, Minnesota, a suburb of St. Paul, is a large venue with a capacity of 3,000. The club consists of two levels and offers VIP accommodations for those that want them. The lower level, which has the largest stage and dance floor in the area, offers at least three bars and multiple beer stops. Around two sides of the dance floor there is cushioned seating.
The second level offers stage viewing but only from the VIP area or against the rail. Otherwise, there is no line of sight. However, there are plenty of flat screens with good quality pictures hung in view of comfortable seating. There is a large bar upstairs but the wait time is much longer than the first level bars.
Because of the Myth's suburban setting it offers a large parking lot with free parking. Those that attend concerts and shows regularly in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area know that this is a plus. Alcoholic drinks are pricey but water and energy drinks are reasonable. Expect a wait to enter the building as full pat downs and purse searches are performed. There is no re-admittance once a patron leaves the building.
