As part of the Bowery Presents group, Mercury Lounge is a well known venue for both local and national talent. But because of its reputation, it is not the easiest venue to book. However if you manage to book this great space, be prepared for a fun . Since the stage is separated from the audience area, there is more than enough room for the talent and audience to rock out during a given set.
The venue itself is separate into two rooms; the very narrow bar in the entrance way that leads to the standing room only performance area. Be sure to grab your leather jacket before you here because this venue is a hipster rock hangout.
