Whether you're into country, jazz, rock or plays and show tunes, you can find what you're looking for. Built over 80 years ago, Liberty has been a staple in the community of the McAlester, OK area. Music and theater lovers come from miles around to enjoy live performances at this historic landmark.
Aside from their usual plays, holiday shows and pageants, individual bands or promotors can rent the Liberty Theater for their own rocking concerts. For a theater that seats 1,000 people, the rent is relatively inexpensive. Turnouts are usually pretty good for the independent metal and rock shows, due to the small town kids having nothing to do normally.
