The Middle East downstais is the largest of four venues that the Middle East Restaurant maintains. It is located on the same corner as the other three Middle East venues and directly neighboring TT The Bears. Imagine an oversized, renovated basement with a bar and stage - and you are already there. Upon entering, you walk to the back where you take a hefty flight of stairs down in to the basement. Here you will find a coat check, neighboring merch booth and sizeable bar. The Middle East Downstairs is a very reputable venue and features an innumerable amount of both local acts as well as national/international touring acts. There is always a different energy depending on the type of show and you can hear everything from Reggae to Pop to Funk to Hip-hop and more down in this musical cave.
