McCarren Park is a beautifully wide open park area in Brooklyn, NY. This 35-acre park brings a load of activities to the Brooklyn area including tennis courts, running tracks, trails, benches, basketball courts, concerts and much more. McCarren park provides the epitome of a 'street concert' when stages are non-permanent as they are constructed in either the park or on the basketball/tennis courts. A great outdoor venue keeping the Brooklyn vibe alive through frequent city concerts. There are usually vendors/booths and outdoor porta-toilets; excessive police/security but undeniably a unique place for a concert.
