The Legendary First Avenue has been located in the heart of Downtown Minneapolis since 1970. What started out as a Bus Depot is now a staple for local and national acts to play. The sound and view in First Avenue is amazing. There are two levels, the first in where the stage is located with at least three bars surronding the stage. The second floor also has bars and can be a little less crowded and the view is still great.
There are other wonderful clubs surronding First Avenue so you can park and walk for blocks. But First Avenue is definitely the staple for the music scene in Minnesota.
