Dueling Pianos at Johnny Foleys in San Francisco is great place for friends and family. There's two piano players on stage that take requests all night long. Also, there's a house band that plays some of the songs with them. The piano players know an insane amount of cover songs; they almost never look at sheet music. Typically it's $2 to go up and make a request. Also, if you're a musician then you can pay $20 to sit in on a song; that's negotiable if you're good at your instrument.
