For a long time this was the legendary venue Common Grounds, but after that place shut its doors, new owners came along pretty quickly. Thank goodness, because this is one of Gainesville's best loved venues. There's a great outdoor bar and no cover to drink out there. Inside, the venue can hold up to 200 people and is the best place in town to see regional and national touring acts. It's just a couple of blocks away from the big downtown crowds, but parking is usually easy to find, and there are often food trucks outside. Or, it's in the same building as Five Star Pizza, whose business is always booming after midnight.
